How Referial works?
Referial is a multi-sided platform built with the purpose to connect proven providers of business services and products with relevant buyers. It’s open to anyone who is a part of the B2B universe:
- Service providers and freelancers aiming to grow their business
- Startups at the scale up stage developing an innovative B2B product
- Companies looking to outsource a part of their activities or have done so in the past
- Individuals who would like to contribute to mapping out the entire ecosystem of a given B2B domain
Where does the data come from?
- Community: people and companies add information about themselves and others
- Public sources on the Internet such as company websites
Who is behind Referial?
We are Abilitics, a 10-year old company with focus on software development, design and outsourcing. We serve clients in 28 countries worldwide like Coca Cola HBC, KPMG, Pfizer, VLMH, BNP Paribas, GoodMills group and more.
We are also the company behind the startup “Slidle”, a Sales Engagement platform with unique approach towards turning PowerPoint presentations into interactive web sites.

Is Referial free to use?
The current service offered by Referial is absolutely free of charge
How is this portal different from the existing solutions on the market?
There are many wonderful portals out there that provide substantial value to B2B companies. For example, you would go to Crunchbase to find an investor, or Capterra to search for an appropriate software solution. However, none of these platforms are truly suitable for discovering a partner you trust. Thus, we decided to build Referial.
CREATING AND MANAGING PROFILES
How do I sign up for a user profile?
Click on the Sign up button in the upper right corner of the main menu. Enter your name, e-mail, and password. Alternatively, you can opt to connect your LinkedIn/ Facebook profile. That’s it – you are all set to use the platform.
Who can add a company profile?
Every member of the public with registration on Referial has the ability to add and edit unclaimed company profiles. We reserve our right to remove any information that violates our Terms of Service.
Can I claim a company and prevent Referial’s community from editing?
Yes. Please send an e-mail at office@referial.com
What company information should I include?
The company profiles feature the following information:
- Main information - name, website, industry, logo, contact info
- Products and services
- Performance indicators
- Short Description
- Management team
- Case Studies
- Client References
- Employee References
- Partner References
- CEO's Message
- Articles & Publications
Can I un-list a company from the platform?
Yes, at any stage you can opt to be removed from the portal. Send an email to office@referial.com with your request.
RANKING AND VISIBILITY
How will potential partners/customers find my company?
Our methodology favors companies with verified past success, which happen to be related by a common partner or reference.
Interested parties can use the ‘Find a partner’ box to search for a specific organization or keyword. In addition, the results can be filtered with the selection of industry tags.
How is the profile score calculated?
The points awarded depend on the information you have entered in each of the categories of your profile. The higher the points you have, the higher the company is shown in the listing.
How to get the most out of Referial?
Be sure to fill out your profile with as much information is possible. It would also help to contact clients/ partners and ask them to verify your case studies and references.
PORTAL EVOLUTION
What are your long-term plans for the portal?
Over time we plan to artificial intelligence into our algorithm, so that anyone would be able to reliably find any information with regards to the B2B world in a matter of just a few clicks.
Later on we intend to recreate the entire marketplace in VR so that suppliers can present their product or service in a unique and compelling way.
